Where Dreams Comes True

As parents one of our dreams has always been to see our son Andy graduate from college. Well this past week we saw that dream become a reality, as he graduated from Jacksonville State University. JSU is located in Jacksonville, Alabama outside of Anniston.  Afterwards, we celebrated by going to Disney World in Orlando, Florida for a few days.

This is just a side comment on this image. The plaque is titled Partners. It reads “We believe in our idea a family park where parents and children could have fun together.” If you look at the people in the background you see just that.

I’m sorry that I haven’t got around to posting or visiting your sites the past week. As you see, I’ve been quite busy. The following are a few pictures of our trip to this magical place. I’m sure that I’ll be posting a few other pictures of our trip in the future.

    1. I appreciate it Otto. We are so glad to have this part of life completed. I’m not sure who is the happiest, Andy or us!

  1. I’m sure you’re very proud of your son Phillip.
Been years since I visited Disney. The child in me wants to go back again soon!!

    1. Thanks Marc. The last time that we all visited together was 16 years ago. While that was a precious time this time was different. For one I wasn’t having to carry him all over the park! LOL

  2. Congratulatons to your family, Phillip, and I wish much success to Andy.

I love the picture of Walt and Mickey and had no idea what the plaque said – thanks for that. You really did capture some families enjoying themselves in the background; an excellent shot.

    1. Thank you so much Dani. I have to admit that I didn’t realize what the plaque said until I read it later. At first I was struck by the castle being behind them. It wasn’t until I was processing the image that I noticed the families in the background. That was a wow moment.
