The Waters

Good Morning

Good Morning

As I mentioned earlier, Cindy and I spent last weekend just outside of Montgomery. We found a very nice place called The Chapel Hill Loft located in a community called Pike Road, Alabama, just outside of Montgomery.  It was very nice and plenty of room for two people. If you are ever plan to be in the area I highly recommend that you contact Dale Entrekin about his place.

The loft is located in a planned community named The Waters. These new homes are built in the design of much older homes, and are surrounded by several lakes. It was just the perfect place to get away and relax.

Morning on the Lake

Morning on the Lake

When I was growing up, my dad and I would often times go fishing. Now it has been years since I been fishing, but I think that I could bring home a boat load out of this lake. I have never seen so many large bass before. They would just lay up next to the bank and feed. It was amazing to just to watch them.

Both of the these images were taken from a pier. I really like the reflections in each of them.

Below is an image of the Chapel. I processed these using Lightroom3 along with Nik’s plugins. Several were three exposures HDRs that I processed with HDR Pro.

This is another great series of images, Phillip. Each one is a work of art and I really like the processing on them all. Some of these look like paintings. 🙂

    Awesome work, man.

Thanks Jimi for the wonderful comment. A painting look was what I was going after. I especially pleased with how they turned out.

What a charming little city!! The first image reminds me of the Stepford Wives movie. I am a fan of the white vignette… good work my friend!
