Springtime

Cherry Blossoms

Cherry Blossoms

This summer will mark the twenty -seventh year since Cindy and I planted this Cherry tree. We were just newlyweds and it was our first tree. We picked it out at our local Wal-Mart and carried it home. It has grown just a little since then.

Our Pink Dogwood usually blooms a week or two behind the white ones. I really like its colored flowers.

I enjoy springtime. The weather is warming up, not that we experience very cold winters, but I just hate to be cold. Still it isn’t as hot as the heatwaves that will be in our future.

Simply beautiful imagery, Phillip, and a lovely way to mark your anniversary.

Thanks Danielle! Our anniversary is in June and sadly by then the blooms will be gone, but it is a beautiful tree in the spring.

Thanks Denise. It also is a very messy time with all the pollen! LOL

These are all beautiful, Phillip, and the highlight tones, pushed to the limits in the first one, make for a marvellous effect. Speaking of that one, even if it’s not your actually wedding anniversary, it’s an anniversary of a kind, so happy planting anniversary to you both!!!
