Cindy and her Brother 1

Cindy and her Brother 1

Cindy was inspired to make a small lap blanket after getting cold in her office a while back. She says that this is her version of an Urban Cabin pattern.

She is very talented, I would never attempt anything like this. It looks too much like work, instead of something that is supposed to be enjoyable.

However, it sure are pretty and nice to have when the weather is cool.

I’ve always admired the work that goes into these. It takes a lot of patience. Nice post Phillip

I appreciate the kind words Len. You are right. It does take a lot of patience. I couldn’t do it.

That looks like a beautiful piece of work. Well done Cindy. We have some local quilt makers who regularly exhibit their work. I admire the skill and patience that must go into these works of Art.

Thank you Andy! I be sure to tell her. She really was excited to her about everyone’s comments, and sends her thanks.

Fun series! The quilt is so pretty, and I love how you captured her hands at work. They show such competence, like my mom’s when she quilts.

Thanks Caryn, that is such a sweet thing to say! She wasn’t too excited when I came in an started clicking away. However, she felt a little better after seeing the pictures.

I don’t think I would have the patience to make one of these fine quilts. Fine work.

Thanks Marc. I know that I wouldn’t, and I’m normally a fairly patience guy!
