A Pair of Pears

A Pair of Pears

A Pair of Pears (Black / White)

Recently I photographed these pears, using my little studio.  I processed these images using Lightroom 3 and NiK’s Viveza 2. Then I used  Silver Eflex Pro 2 to process the Black and White version.

Nicely done Phillip. They both have merits. The B&W really show the textures and the color show the great light

Lovely black and white details. The color one looks delicious!

Both pictures are great and show different characters. The B&W feels so crisp and fresh, while the colour photo is more “moody” and subtle in its expression. I might actually favour the latter, but love them both.

They are very different. Thanks Otto!

I could certainly eat the coloured ones. The lighting is perfect.

Thanks Andy, you would have enjoyed them, we did!

    Excellent work, Phillip!

They both have that “fine art” look to them. I prefer the B&W in this instance. Good stuff, man.

Wonderful work Philip. I like the color one much better. Really cool.

So similar, yet so different. I like them both!

They’re both really beautiful images, each one in it’s own way.
